Yard of the Month contest

We want to remind everyone that there is still time to participate in this year’s Yard of the Month contest. The contest ends in September so you still have time to participate!

Two homes will be chosen every month and is awarded a $25.00 Home Depot gift card. A Yard of the Month sign is placed in their front lawn all month long.

The winning homes are judged by the overall appearance, tidiness and neatness of the home and front lawn. Please note, your HOA assessments must be paid in full and no deed restriction violations in order to be a winner of the Yard of the Month contest.

REMINDER TO OUR WINNERS- The Yard of the Month sign will be picked up at the end of the winning month, please make sure not to remove from lawn.

Be Prepared for Inspections - Lawns are in a major growth spurt now, which translates to more frequent mowings, trimmings, etc. When inspections are made, some of the areas that are noted include: Mowing of grass, Edging around sidewalks, driveways, flowerbeds, etc., Trimming of hedges and trees (make sure trees over streets and sidewalks are trimmed to the proper height), Cleanup of debris from streets, sidewalks and driveways. In order to avoid receiving a deed restriction violation notice, keep all these areas in good shape at all times.

This is just a reminder to all of you who plan to make alterations to the exterior of your home. You MUST get an ACC Approval Form completed and submitted to the Association BEFORE YOU START the construction.
