Pecan Grove ISO Rating Has Dropped!
The ISO rating is based on an inspection by the state Fire Marshall’s office. The inspection measures the ability of the fire department to respond to structure fires in its response district. This insurance rating is important because it affects the cost of fire protection insurance paid by the property owner. The lower of a rating that is earned by the Fire Department results in discounted premiums on the cost of insurance.
The Pecan Grove Fire Department is proud to inform that Pecan Grove ISO rating has dropped down to a two (2). This rate was approved on September 1st, 2018. Make sure your insurance agent is aware to get a discounted rate on your homeowners insurance.
REMINDER: Please obey the posted speed limits throughout the community. Golf carts should be stored out of public view and should be driven to and from the golf course only.
Be Prepared for Inspections - Lawns are in a major growth spurt now, which translates to more frequent mowings, trimmings, etc. When inspections are made, some of the areas that are noted include: Mowing of grass, Edging around sidewalks, driveways, flowerbeds, etc., Trimming of hedges and trees (make sure trees over streets and sidewalks are trimmed to the proper height), Cleanup of debris from streets, sidewalks and driveways. In order to avoid receiving a deed restriction violation notice, keep all these areas in good shape at all times.
This is just a reminder to all of you who plan to make alterations to the exterior of your home. You MUST get an ACC Approval Form completed and submitted to the Association BEFORE YOU START the construction.
For vacation watch, please contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff's office.
