Flags over Fort Bend
"Flags over Fort Bend” is a fund raising program for Boy Scout Troop 1630, one of the most active Boy Scout troops serving the Fort Bend County area. Troop 1630 provides an opportunity for development through many activities and skills learned through its scouting program.
Activities such as Camping, Hiking, Climbing, Swimming, Cycling, Advancement, Leadership Training, as well as supporting the community through many service projects make for a complete scouting program. Yet, many scouts are unable to participate fully in all scouting activities.
Your support in our “Flags over Fort Bend” program will help the scouts purchase equipment and offset the cost of troop activities. For your contribution of $36, members of our troop will display a 3’ x 5’ American Flag in your yard six days each year. Those days are 4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, and Flag Day. Additional flags can be added at a reduced rate per flag (see detailed pricing below). For more information – Call 512-586-6742 or email to TROOP1630FLAGS@YAHOO.COM
Remember to report any street repairs or pot holes throughout Tara Association that need to be repaired. The management company has reported these areas to the County many times; however we need your help to call and report these areas of concern. Fort Bend Road and Bridge does encourage the residents to report these repairs directly to them at 281-342-4513 or via email to FBCRB@fortbendcountytx.gov. Pictures are worth a thousand words; make sure to send them several pictures!
SOUNDWALL UPDATE With the soundwall construction along Crabb River Rd. under way, we would like for everyone to know that the Board is in communication with TXDOT and will make sure we have the most updated information to inform our homeowners on this page.
